Absolutely. We're constantly updating our lists to add new Mom blogs, podcasts, and YouTubers, as well as removing Moms who are no longer active.
-
Due to marketing laws, personal information (including email addresses) is not allowed to be sold. Instead, these lists contain all of the URLs (websites) and names of the Mom Blogs, Podcasts, and YouTubers. Basically, we've done the hours and hours of work for you of finding these Moms, so all you need to do is head to their websites that we provide, and then copy their listed email address that are always only a few clicks away!
-
If your book has already launched, the emails should go out ASAP. If your book has not yet launched, the emails should go out 2 weeks ahead of your launch.
-
After you send out the emails, any interested Moms should start replying pretty quickly. These replies can go on for days or even weeks, as we're dealing with Moms on all different timetables. In general, their replies will either be "no thank you, not interested" or "yes and _____". That blank can be a question about the book, about you, a request for you to send a digital copy for them to review, etc. It's all pretty simple really, and it's not too business-like - more like a casual conversation. So you'll just discuss with them and massage those new relationships.
-
The vast majority of the Moms don't charge a fee to review your book, because they need more content to review, so they're already benefiting from reviewing your book. And for the few Moms who do charge a fee, their fee is usually very small (less than $50) and their follow numbers are very large, so you'll just need to decide if it's worth it for you on a case-by-case basis. Meaning, if the Mom has 500,000 followers who will read the review of your book, and they're charging only $50, then that would definitely be worth it.
-
These Moms really don't post negative reviews at all. And to understand this, it's best thought of this way:
"Mary" is a Mom Blogger. She has 100,000 followers who check her blog each day for recommendations of which products (in your case, books) to get. These followers go there specifically to see which book they SHOULD read, because they trust Mary's judgement. They don't go to her blog to hear about which book they SHOULDN'T read, as this would be a waste of their time. Mary knows this, and so she wouldn't waste her or her followers' time by posting a negative review about a book her followers shouldn't read. Instead, she focuses on only posting reviews of books they should read - meaning, positive reviews. And in the case that Mary agrees to review a book that she ultimately doesn't like, she'd simply abandon the book, let the author know she no longer will review it, and everyone's happy, because the author won't have a negative review of their book posted online, and Mary can re-focus her efforts on reading a book that she will review positively and then post about for her followers.
So overall, there's really no risk of getting negative reviews posted on these platforms. -
Not at all. Authors of books that are just-launched and authors of books that are years old have done equally well using ReachMoreMoms. There's no significant difference of sales/reviews related to the books being older. This is due to the fact that these Moms care only about one thing - quality. If the book is good, then it doesn't matter how old it is, they'll be interested in it.
-
They absolutely do. All they care about is: will their followers like the book? If so, then they don't care where the book comes from - they'll review it.
-
The Moms prefer a digital copy to review and not a physical copy, so that will save you quite a bit of funds. You'll simply send them a PDF copy of your book (or a portion of it), as everyone is able to open a PDF.
-
A digital review copy is a copy of the book for the Moms to read and review. Luckily, the vast majority of these Moms prefer a digital copy, so you won't spend funds to ship physical copies to them. You can simply send them a PDF file of the book (or a portion of it), as everyone is able to open a PDF file.
-
Amazon is a good default, but you can also have it for sale on your own website or a combination of both. More options is always better!
-
The book should be available as an eBook at the very least. Then hardcover and softcover if you're able to. Then lastly, as an audiobook, as audiobooks make up the lowest amount of sales in terms of a book's format.
-
Not at all. Many authors with books with even zero reviews do incredibly well with ReachMoreMoms. This is because these Moms are not regular readers, they don't rely on others' reviews themselves, because they "know their stuff". Meaning, they know what will be good and what won't, what will do well on their platform, etc. And in some cases, lower numbers of reviews can actually help, as some Moms prefer to be "early adopters". Meaning, they want to be the first to review a great book.
-
These Moms all need a steady stream of products/books coming in, to provide them with content to post on their platforms for their followers to engage with. If they stop accepting more products/books, then they stop producing content, and then their followers stop following them. So these Moms are incentivized to consider your book even more, knowing they always need more content. So it really is a win-win for both you and them.
-
The majority of the Moms will be open to interviewing you on their platform. However, if you'd prefer not to be interviewed, they're always very much okay with that, and you'll just let them know. It won't affect your book's chances of getting reviewed.
-
The majority of the Moms are located in the USA, then Canada, followed by the UK, then all other countries. However, the vast majority of the Moms are very open to books from all authors - even international authors.
-
That's not a problem, because you don't need to be! All you'll need to do is enter the Moms' email addresses in your email provider of choice (Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and send them an email as you would anyone else. It's quite literally just a few button clicks!
-
Due to the digital nature of ReachMoreMoms - and the fact that you can literally use these lists in less than 15 minutes - we do not offer refunds if you use the service.
